Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember certain information about your visit — such as whether you've accepted our cookie notice — so you don't have to respond to it every time you return.
Cookies don't give websites access to your device or personal files. They simply store small pieces of information that make the site work better for you.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies Always active
These cookies are required for the website to function. They cannot be switched off. They do not store any personally identifiable information.
- Cookie consent preference (stored in
localStorage) - Basic session management
Analytics Cookies Optional
These help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. This information is aggregated and anonymous.
- Google Analytics (_ga, _gid) — page view and session tracking
- Retained for up to 26 months
Marketing Cookies Optional
These may be set by advertising networks if we run any campaigns. They track visits across sites to measure ad effectiveness. Currently, Tayrona does not actively use advertising cookies.
- Google Ads conversion tracking (if active)
- Facebook Pixel (if active)
Preference Cookies Optional
These remember choices you make to personalise your experience — such as your language or region preference.
- Language and regional settings
- UI preferences if applicable
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be placed by third-party services we use. Where we use Google Analytics (with your consent), Google processes data under their own Privacy Policy. We do not control third-party cookie behaviour and encourage you to review their policies directly.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies: deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a set period. Our consent cookie is stored until you clear it. Analytics cookies typically expire after 26 months.
